I chose this picture because this is my recent favorite artist. Meghan writes songs for famous people and she finally wrote one for herself. She is a great singer and does so in a classy way. That's why I love her music so much.

Reason for taking the course: I wanted to expand my knowledge of art to more than just 2D works.
Career aspiration: I want to go into art therapy at Millikin University. I hope to change people's lives for the better as much as one person can.
Favorite styles of art: I have always leaned towards more realistic types of art. I am constantly striving to make my drawings look as much like my photo reference as I can. I strongly dislike Abstract and modern art. Abstract art bothers me since our Brit Lit teacher last year made us take a quiz to see if we knew the difference between a kindergartner's painting and a million dollar one. Some of the abstract and modern paintings looked like my little cousin could have made it.
